What does it taste like?

It's an orgy of bright red berries and yummy fruit. At first glance, one could mistake this puppy as cute, cuddly and toilet trained. No way - there is a beast within. It's rich, ripe and full of delicious Frankland River Shirazy goodness, but in no way jammy or hot.

Drink in moderation. If you can.

Did you know?

Shiraz (also known as Syrah) is a dark-skinned variety of grape used to make striking and bold red wines. Shiraz is grown in many countries although some say it’s origins are Persian; and is primarily used to produce powerful red wines, which enjoy great popularity. The great red wines of the Northern Rhone Valley in France are predominantly Shiraz based, as are the rich, ripe food, and cause emotional (and digestive) unrest at social gatherings.

At its best, Shiraz is spectacular, majestic and even wise. We believe the Frankland River area is a great Shiraz country, with flavours sitting somewhere between the cool tingle of Victorian Shiraz and the double barreled assault that is South Australian Shiraz. Ooooppss – did we say that?

Come see what the fuss is about.
